Vavřinec Hradilek Kayakar
(Czech Republic)

Vavrinec has been representing the Czech Republic for over 15 years at top events in whitewater slalom. Sport has never been his main priority, but the love he developed for it over the years spiced up with his junior years first successes meant that he started devoting his time to the water full time. Vavrinec has won several World Cup races, World Championships and he won a silver medal at the Olympics in London. He is also thankful for all the lost races which helped him become better and go farther.

In recent years, his life is not just about sports, he also started several business projects. But water is still so much fun that he won’t let go of his paddle just now. He might try the five rings once more, even though he has already passed the bar of 30. :-)

And obviously he also likes extreme rivers, expeditions, traveling, friends, flying, truth and love.
